Ambassador Scholarship Program
Each year, 2 or 3 Ambassadors are crowned to represent the city of Rockford and the Rockford River Days festival. For one year the Ambassadors travel to communities all over the state of Minnesota to interact with others and share information about Rockford and Rockford River Days. The Ambassadors volunteer at hometown events and interact with members of the community. The Rockford River Days Ambassador Program offers Ambassadors an opportunity to develop their public speaking skills, promotes volunteerism with a focus on leadership and the opportunity to serve as positive role models. The Rockford River Days Committee provides each Ambassador with a $1000 educational scholarship for their service.
